Gas Gauge?
Hey guys I was out driving today and I had a little over a half tank of gas. I stop to eat and when I get back in the car the gauge reads full? what do I need to do to fix this?

If you ignore the problem it will go away.

You should have a good idea how far you can go on a tank of gas. Occasionally my tank will be "off" and after a few minutes it will return to normal. I did have an anomaly with mine (or so I thought) when I drove the Tioga Pass this spring the day it opened. With the traffic and the views, I averaged about 25-30 mph the entire crossing. Coming down from the Sierras, I noticed my milage was high for the tank but the quantity was a tick above half. Believing I had a gauge problem, I filled up again to check it. To my astonishment the gauge was correct. The milage I got was 36mpg! I usually get 28 on a good day. Nothing like that had ever happened before and I won't see it again unless I drive that speed for an extended period. Odd set of circumstances.

I was driving to Lake Tahoe last weekend and before a head out I filled up. Half way there the gas light came on so I pulled over thinking I had a gas leak. After checking and inspecting things I was only able put 3 gallons back in the car. After the tank was full the gas light was still on and 0 bars. I drove to there and back to the house and the gas light it still ON. is been two days and I have drove the car for about 30 miles.
I think the next thing is to access the gas pump and check the sensor or flooder.
