^^^ Test pipes make your exhaust smell because theres no cat to filter out the baddies

You still should smell nothing in the cabin. I've got a Berk test pipe and smell nothing.

Check you valve lash and see if your exhaust valve clearances tightened up. My car started running rough, would occasionally stall, and smelled extremely rich when starting up. I found all of my exhaust valves were tight and some had no clearances so fuel blew right through the valves during the compression strokes. Unfortunately, I discovered this too late and burnt some valves. After adjusting the valves the rich unbrunt smell of fuel was gone.
