Gas Filling Problems
When filling my S2000, I can only get a few litres in at a time (ie. less than a gallon) and then I have to wait awhile before adding more.
I peeled back the flexible rubber boot and the large pipe had a twist in it, so I untwisted it but I still seem to have the problem. Any suggestions? The two smaller tubes don't seem to be kinked or anything.

I figured I'd follow up in case anyone has the same problem in the future.
After some testing it appears the problem is the vapor control valve. It doesn't seem to be releasing the air out of the top of the tank as it should, limiting how much gas the car can hold. I'm not sure if I'll replace it or live with only being able to hold half a tank of gas...Honda thoughtfully designed things so you basically have to disassemble the back half of the car to get at it

Question: Do you regularly over-flow your tank? When the pump stops do you keep adding more in?
My dad has a bad habit of doing this and one day he ran into the same problem you did. Apparently after much over-filling the charcoal canister started getting gas in it and caused him to not fill up his tank. I'm not sure if our cars have the same equipment (he has a Toyota Solara).
Probably far fetched, but just in case your ideas run out.

I bought the car used and I've never been able to fill it up more than 2/3s. It was in an accident before (previous owners) and I suspect this is a remaining side effect of that.
I might live with it for this year and then take things apart over the winter.

I had a roll bar welded into my car, and we kind of pushed those flexible hoses a little bit to the back in order to make everything fit. Since I did that, I can't quite get as much gas into the car. It must be a related issue.
