Default Gas filler tube replacement.

My CEL is on due to the gas cap not closing correctly on the filler tube threads. Anyway, I'm aware that there are tons of threads on this, But every one I have read so far has been corrected at a dealer.

My question is, Has anyone done this replacement themself? If so, Where did you but the parts? And was it diffucult?

Thanks.

Yes, I did mine. It took about 10min to do.

1. Pull back the trunk liner.
2. Remove the gas cap.
3. Remove the nuts
4. Disconnect the filler hoses (3)
5. Remove neck.

To isntall, just do that backwards.

Thanks, I didnt realize it was so easy. If i buy a new filler neck and cap from bkhondaparts.com will it be a revised part? or is the same thing going to eventually happen?

Yes. They updated the part. You can see that the Screw threads on the filler neck are made by crimping the neck. Compare the two and you will see what they changed.
