Gap between JIC slip-fit muffler and piping

I just removed completely.. doesnt really seem to be a need for them with the clamp on

Yea I don't have the springs on mine either. Pretty useless IMO. As for that little gap, don't worry about it. I'm almopst sure nothing is leaking out anyway. But look for some carbon buildup just in case. As cjb said, as long as its after to O2 sensor it makes little difference.

Also if it was leaking significantly you should be able to hear it from inside the cabin as its probably going to "whistle"
