Fuse 5
Hi, I believe the problem was the reverse switch located above the gearbox (tricky to get to with hands any bigger than that of a 3 year old). I gave it a clean up and never had the problem again, however I only had the car for about 2 weeks after the fix.

Hi,
so fuse 5 will pop when I put the car in reverse however the fuse does not pop every time so is intermittent, I have noticed after driving hard and putting the car in reverse the fuse almost pops every time, I’m thinking of going to an auto Emectrics shop as I’m out of ideas...

You might have a leak in the rear end around the lights, water could be getting in the back-up lights. Check the bulbs in the back up sockets for corrosion or dampness.
