yes stick with OEM filter. you can change oil filter every other oil change. but thats depending how clean your engine has been. hard to debate on capacity as it seems there is no definitive answer. i just do it the old fashioned way fill and check dip stick. ive been putting in just about 5.2 qrts with an oil filter change. careful not to overfill your car with oil. CHECK YOUR DIP STICK! it should be almost at the top of the xxxxx's and not past it. it would be beneficial if your car was on a flat surface.

One little thing to add but oil is a critical item in this car. When checking the oil, as mentioned above, I would add that you check BOTH sides of the dipstick. There have been cases of it showing on one side but not the other thereby fooling someone to think quantity is okay. The engine is at a natural slant. If the new, clean oil is hard to read, try putting it on a shop towel so the oil makes an easy mark to read.
