The Honda oil would be a group 3 synthetic, something along the lines of Castrol Syntec or Penz Platinum and many other over the counter group synthetic oils that are highly refined oils. It would be decent oil, nothing wrong with it, I'm not familiar with the pricing to comment if it is really worth the price.
Saying that, I would not regard it as being in the same league as Amsoil, Redline, Motul, Mobil1, Penz Ultra which offer true Group 4/5 synthetics. Unfortunately the word "synthetic" has been highly bastardized over the years so you need to know what you are really getting for your money.

All of my 5 cars listed below have used Amsoil since 1st Oil Change....a combined total of 441k miles AND 50 years of combined service.
S2k,Z06 & GST use 0w30 while the CRV and EXV use 0w20.

Asking about oil can be like asking what is better: brunette, blond or ginger.

Sometimes dealer will have a deal with a loss leader. In the long run you will probably want to do it yourself. You don't want some clown at speedi lube dicking things up. You should use a new crush washer.
Personally I like to change the oil frequently both from the fun part (excuse to work on the car) as well as keeping it up. I get my oil at Wal Mart- $25 for 5 qts of Mobil1. I get and OEM Honda filter and away I go. I did get a Fumoto drain valve so now I can change the oil from the engine bay; no more getting under the car. I just slide the oil catch pan under. You will find its easy and fun to do the other fluids too; diff, trainy and clutch. Do read up on proper techniques and safety for jack standing the car. Don't skimp on being safe. Lots of threads.

yes stick with OEM filter. you can change oil filter every other oil change. but thats depending how clean your engine has been. hard to debate on capacity as it seems there is no definitive answer. i just do it the old fashioned way fill and check dip stick. ive been putting in just about 5.2 qrts with an oil filter change. careful not to overfill your car with oil. CHECK YOUR DIP STICK! it should be almost at the top of the xxxxx's and not past it. it would be beneficial if your car was on a flat surface.
