Fuel Pump Install?
Hey,
I am looking at putting my new fuel pump in and the factory manual talks about taking off the panel behind the seats....the one that the soft top folds down into. How hard is it to get off? Any pointers you could give me? Any other info from there you could share on this install? THanks

Here is the Vortech installation manual:

Go to the page that tells you how to swap the fuel pump. It will give you some hints as to how to get at it. It also tells you to have a Helm service manual on hand if you're going to be dismantling the car in any way. You basically have to remove the fasteners that hold the rear vertical trim on and take that out. Then you unfasten the soft top tray. You have to remove the trunk liner so you can take the tray out via the trunk. Then you work from between the seats from above the fuel tank. Obviously, if you have the windscreen, that must be removed first.
