Before the exhaust swap I was getting between 290 miles on approximately 12 gallons or 24 MPG. After the installation I started to get 230 miles per tank or 19 MPG. Filled up yesterday and waiting to see what happens after replacing the plugs and reseting the ECU. I will post up soon with more info. Thanks

This. Definitely calculate MPG. Reset the trip meter at fill up and then you can jot down the number miles on your gas receipt and you'll have the numbers you need. MPT can vary quite a bit. From what you're saying MPG probably did drop but you can't really rely on MPT.

I noticed a large decrease in fuel efficiency on my Prius throughout December and early January. It went from 41-43 MPG to 39-40 MPG. The previous tank was up to about 40MPG and the current tank is holding steady around 41mpg. Winter gas really does bring efficiency down.
The S had been in the garage due to weather but this last week I have had it out and I averaged 26 MPG (just filled it up yesterday), which is about 1 MPG lower than usual (pretty steady at 27 MPG).

I recently replaced the stock exhaust with a PLM style [size=2]header, 70mm Berks TP and the Challenger 76mm TA76-S exhaust on My 2006 S2000. After 3 weeks with the exhaust on I'm noticing about 50 miles less per tank in fuel economy. I have had the same exhaust with the J.s Racing 70mm RS single with no difference in fuel economy.

Are you idling your car more in cold weather? To warm it up?

I didn't think you guys get winter gas down south, if you do it definitely kills fuel economy like a switch occurring as soon as they change over their mixtures.
Avoid gas stations with ethanol mixed into their fuels. You can't avoid it with regular and mid-grade fuels as all companies mix ethanol in there to meet standards, but premium fuel can be purchased from Shell with no ethanol. There may be other companies that do the same but some of them still put ethanol in their premium fuel. Ethanol will lower your fuel economy.
Fuel and spark are to large factors on fuel economy, if you have good fuel and spark you should have good fuel economy. Keep your tires pumped up, use synthetic oils in the engine and diff and you should be golden.
