Default Front jacking point

So, am I correct in assuming that it's almost impossible to put a floor jack under the car to get to the front jacking point without jacking up the sides of the car first? Unless it's a very low profile floor jack that is?

Yeah, I think it's almost impossible to put in the front jack point.

Yeah, changing my oil and it's the first time I tried to jack it up from the front. The jack itself will fit, but the handle won't lower enough.

Drive the front tires up onto a couple of 2x4 scraps and then it should work.

^yep, I had the same problem. There are jacks that will fit though. They just cost a pretty penny!

I've got two jacks that I use, or you can use the factory jack on the side first, but it's just easier with two jacks.

I was researching a new jack a while back and found a site that measured the heights of those jacks. Neither of those jacks will reach the S2K front jack point without something being put under the front wheels. Mine is even worse now with an OEM front lip and a one or so inch drop.

I use this jack:

http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/disp...temnumber=91039

I just pop up each side really quick and stick a 2x4 piece under each whell and then I have enough room to get the jack started.

I am stock height.
