Default Front end chatter

So I am relatively new to my S2000 with only about 2k miles on it so far. I have noticed from time to time that I get chatter in the front end. By this, I mean it feels like I am driving across a washboard. The first time it happened, I pulled over thinking I had a flat tire. Nothing wrong. This weekend, it did it again - and it wasn't the road. No alignment issues.

When I bought the car, the inspection at Honda said I would be needing new lower ball joints. I am not sure if this is a symptom of that or something else?

Any ideas?

Thanks

Yes...that could be a symptom of bad lower ball joints. Why would you continue to drive with bad lower ball joints? Those hold up the weight of the car....

A small break in a tire belt can create a low speed vibration on some surfaces. I looked for a problem for weeks after a clutch job thinking I had created a mechanical problem but in the end it was a failing tire.

The report was... "may need lower ball joints soon". They also said... "may need rear brake pads" which are measuring at 4mm. So I heard what they said but I also didn't assume that it was imminent.
