Step 1: make sure you have all these screws and bolts off.

Step 2: tape off your eyelids if you have them or anything else that looks like it might get scratched. don't use duct tape, sorry that's the only thing I had for the pics.

Step 3: hold some solid pressure on the corner of bumper and give it a good but short yank. once you have one side unsnapped put the middle screw by hood latch back in two or three treads so that when you take off the second side your bumper doesn't fall on the ground.

Step 4: if your bumper is not off, have one of these and repeat steps 1-3!

Here is what the clips look like...

I've noticed that some S2000 owners are extremely anal about stupid things like this. If you drive the car it's going to get chipped, cracked, ect.

I think what you call a "front bumper cover" is what others call a front bra. It is a cover that goes over the front bumper and protects it from rock chips. The removal instructions are different depending on the kind of bra, the clear bra, for example, is glued to the paint and cannot be easily removed. Good luck. ![hello.gif](https://www.s2ki.com/forums/images/smilies/hello.gif)

most TRUCKS have bumpers (chrome), and most CARS have bumper covers over them.

Thanks folks!!
btw, I noticed that under one of the screws (top of bumper - radiator support) there was a silver washer that no other screws had. Where does this go? It fell out and that is how I found it, so I have no idea where it is placed.

the technical name IS 'front bumper cover.' The actuall front 'bumper' is the styrofoam absorber and rebar. These three make up the bumper 'assembly'
