Freeplay in left rear hub?
I've tried using the infamous search button, but to no avail. . . .
I've noticed that I've got some free play in my left rear hub. It doesn't grind, creak, or make any other noises, but when I had the car jack up the other day, I noticed that 'wiggle' the wheel in and out a little bit, not a lot, but enough to notice it. I checked the torque on the axel nut, and on the screws holding the rotor to the hub, but I've yet to break everything down. The left rear axel shaft does have some inward and outwadr play (maybe 3mm), but I've always found that normal on vehicles running this type of setup. Nothing is leaking, or oozing from anywhere. I'm really curious to know if this a problem, or something that sounds normal?
