Found this in the Oil Pan. Any Ideas?

Last engine I had here with a bad thrust bearing:
Block, crank, rods, pistons, cyl walls, cam towers, front cam wheel, cams, were completely trashed.
All I could save was the head casting and VTEC rocker assys.
