Forcing 1st and Reverse gears, sticking 2nd and 3rd
I am very frustrated, i just recieved my $3000 bill for my shitty acura CL transmission that i fixed and sold and now this... I only noticed this notchy-ness and rough entry in and out of gears recently (this week). So after reading a few non specific answerless threads, I soaked out all of the fluid from the clutch reservoir with paper towels (as billman suggested) and cleaned/refilled it with dot3 i had left over for a while.. I know it takes time for fresh fluid to circulate but after a cold night the car (MY00) just doesnt want to go into first and after reading the last guy's "i dont press the clutch to go into first" im worried about forcing the car into 1st. Reverse also has the problem 6/10. Obviously i read all the other threads about how the shaft is spinning while in forward gears and its a good idea to let it stop before slamming into R, but this is not normal. I know most the replies will be "need new master/slave or synchros are gone, or needs new clutch. I really cant afford that right now, am i doomed? FML, i had so much faith in the s2k build quality i spent extra to get one.

The clutch is not new or replaced, the master is good, the fluid was filthy, I sponged out some old fluid and put some new stuff in, however I am going to do a full bleed this weekend. I need to take a peak at the slave. I just want to be assured that its not snychros or a throwout bearing!!

"It should fix itself if you bleed it properly. Look at picking up a new master or slave in a few months though."
Thank you, i do appriciate it. It seems to have no problems whatsoever if i hit second THEN go into first so hopfully thats a sign that nothing is too awful
P.s. I will update with results of the full bleed. As of now, still wont go straight into first, shifting into second before hand.

Just to recap an old thread upon request, i did bleed the master, nothing really changed, it seems the issues is simply letting the car get to warm operating tempuratures... This was posted when my S was still new to me, i now have no thoughts of something being wrong in the trans, i think the brass synchros in my ap1 just needed to expand under the right temp
