varible resistor would be worth exploring, it might kick back a eps light though

Well, the signal is frequency based, not voltage based, so the resistor wouldn't necessarily do the job.

I do like the idea of being able to vary the assist, though. Good thought.

I installed them last week and around my neck of the woods I've noticed an improvement in the slight lag our cars have while steering as well as an improvement in how the steering feels while going over bumps around corners... I didn't feel an increase of road conditions through the wheel though.
