Fluid based on time or mileage?
So i've been researching the approptiate oils and fluids for my 2001 s2k. I was going to change the Diff fluid, the MT fluid and finally install my CEL fix today. Then my dad was like dude, you have 36,000 miles on your car, the fluids are probably fine. Is he right? The older lady who owned the car first DID take it to her local stealership for regular maintenance and when i went to them they had the car down as getting a service at 32,000. What do you guys think? If im not doing any fluids i'll wait untill i get my PCX filters in off of eBay and do all the work while the car is elevated. And lastly, i know engine oil needs to be changed after a period of time, miles or not, is it the same for MT and Diff??

just change it bro wont hurt.... nothing and you will have peace of mind everything is nice and mainted in there... i change my diff fluid every 8k its only about .7 liters with a pump real easy task... and i do my tranny every 5500 with honda mtf and royal purple 75 90w for the rear end..... motor oil i change every 3k with a honda oem pcx filter only a pcx and mobil 1 10w 30 5.1 quarts you will burn the .9 quarts during the 3000 miles due to your mad vteccc... so my advice buy 6 hope this helps

i heard if your using synthetic, you dont have to do a 3k change. It could last up to 5k.
