I have a Craftsman 2.5 T hydraulic lift and I bought 4 Ton jack stands. I can't seem to get the lift high enough to slid the stands into the jack positions.
I think I need a lift with a greater capacity and higher lift. Or should I look for smaller jack stands?
What lifts and stand combinations do you use when doing your transmission and differential fluid changes?

Put a small piece of 2x4 wood on top of the jack to get you more height. I used two jacks , one to jack up the driver side then I go under the front center lift point to get it as high as I need it, then I go to the rear center point to get the rear up as high as I need it. If you need added height put a block of wood on the jack when accessing the front and rear center jack points.
