a couple months ago my gauges started to flicker. at first my buddy dave(S2oooNvegas) and i thought it was just the gauge cluster going bad. soon after my car started running like crap and my fuel economy sucked as well. one day while we are at his shop changing all of my fluids in my car. he and one of his co workers thought about testing the battery and alternator with some multi thousand dollar machine. both battery and alternator are toast. my battery tested at 280 cold cranking amps and my alternator was emiting some kind of ac wave that dave can explain better than me.

so i took my car to a honda dealer and i told them that we tested the alt. and battery and that they were toast. they couldnt duplicate the problem. they wouldnt fix it no matter how much i esxplained what was wrong and they kept telling me that the alternator could not affect the car in that way. so dave called some buddies at another honda dealership told them what was going on showed them the print out of the test they replaced my alternator but didnt replace the battery. when i picked up my car i was so happy the flickering was gone and i noticed the power i lost was back home where it belongs . today i got a new battery we retested everything my alternator good and my new battery tested at 583 cold cranking amps and im loving it!!!!!!. if anyone else is having the same problem its the alternator and battery dont let your local dealership to you that its not. im tired and going to sleep
