Default Fixing the 2nd to 3rd Shift

Hey guys, 2009 with 27 xxx kms here hoping for some help with the notorious 2nd to 3rd shift. The only way i can describe it is either calling it a "bump" or simply just not as smooth of a shift as every other gear. I have tried revving higher and the most talked about solutions but the problem is never 100 percent gone. I am just looking for a solution to give me hope, to give me just one perfect shift from 2nd to 3rd so ill know its possible to fix. When i bought the car i was told the previous owner was an elderly gentleman who babied the car... but I am starting to wonder if he may have been skip shifting or jamming it into gear ect..

Change the transmission fluid and do the shifter re-grease. If that doesn't work then you may have to look at other possible causes.

I just got my tranny fluid changed as well as my clutch lubed. Everything related to shifting is noticeably smoother now.

Yes i have tried shifter regrease aswell as changed the tranny fluid. Another thing to note is with the 1st to 2nd gear shift i can make a perfect shift by pausing in nuetral for a second or two and it will go into gear perfectly but if i just try to bring it into gear 1/2 a second to earlier it gets notchy. Now i know if i can shift it perfectly in those gears then there should be no problem but it really just doesent seem right, to not be able to shift moderately quickly from 1st to 2nd without getting a notchy feel. This does not apply for the 2nd to 3rd shift, no matter what i do i cant get a perfect shift.

have you ever tried punching it from redline in both of those gears and letting it winding back down i hear that could do something to fix it.

I had the first to second and second to third notch or bumpiness I read about all over the forums.

Tried shifting slower. Shifting faster. Tried less pressure on the stick. More pressure. Shifting at high rpms. Lower rpms.
Tried genuine Honda MTF, GM and Mobil.
Bleed clutch multiple times. Adjusted clutch free play. None of those things worked.

Tried Amzoil MTF and the transmission shifts awesome. Now I actually know what people mean when they say the S has a smooth shifting tranny.

My point? Don't give up. Try different fluids. It's the easiest way to see if the fix is simple.

And also try the stuff just mentioned. Gravity bleed clutch fluid, adjust clutch rod free play at the pedal.

if you've already done the transmission fluid and the shifter re-grease, then spray white lithium grease on throw out bearing and fork, and bleed the clutch. It will get you to the totally different world of shifting feeling

I also had issues with 1st and 2nd gear change, sometimes 3rd as well in MY08 s2k, and I thought it's blown transmission, but after bleeding clutch, it has been gone
