"Worth it" is a personal concept. If you're prone to running up against parking blocks, then maybe. I've learned to park well away from any cement blocks.

I have to say it also affords peace of mind when leaving a driveway with a sharp angle onto the road, or when entering a road that has a "rain ditch" across the driveway, etc. Most parking lots we have around here have dips and drop-offs that I've scraped my CM protector on - saved the underside several times!
