Craftsman My 0-75 ft-lb is the non-spring torsion type. My 50-250 ft-lb wrench is made by Husky, which I was told was a sister company of Snap-On

Sear will do theirs, Snap Ontheirs, but there may be someone local to you that can do just as good a job & get it back to you quicker. I do know that SnapOn will sometimes give you a loaner.

I have multiple, Snap On, I also have a Matco and a Cornwell...they all seem to perform fine.

This company actually makes the wrenches that Snap-on sells. If you order them direct from them, they are cheaper and they also offer many more products.

No wonder they cost as much as Snap-On.

Since I'm a student, I found out that I can get Snap-On at list price; I might go this route.

i thought they were all the same. i guess i should upgrade to snap on. how much do they go for?

They start at around $200+ new. I've seen used one's on ebay sell for around $100. If I was to get one off ebay, I would send it back to Snap-On right away to have it re-certified.

The only company I've come across that provides NIST certification with their torque wrench is $nap-on.

We use the CDIs pictured below, a lot of the Snap-On non electronic are are actually Precision Instruments another great brand. Beyond that would only trust Stahlwille
