Finally a CEL (P1259) Bank 1
I have been having cold start problems with my car revving and dying (never fully stalling) for over 6 months. I just left the car for over a week instead of the usual 24hrs and started the car.
It did its usual revving and dying, revving and dying trick but this time threw up a CEL.
The CEL is P1259 VTEC CIRCUIT BANK 1
This is the noise it makes in the morning:

I'm really praying now i have a CEL someone can help.
Thanks.

Have you read what others have found on that CEL code?

Absolutely I have. Page after page.
I wouldn't just post here without having done so.
however i was hoping for some expert advice from someone who has listened to the mp3 and knows a bit more than me, becuase this CEL could be caused by any number of things.
I am getting air bubbles forming on my dipstick when running the engine cold too if that is a relevant symptom although they dissapear once the engine warms and the problem disappears.
Other then that, the only symptom i have day to day is a stumbling almost stalling engine when i rev the car stationary and the revs drop back down. It never quite stalls but it sounds like it might.
