Hey, Hybrid,
That is WAYYYYYY cool! Are you telling me that the stock crank will tolerate this level of "abuse"? Thanks for the "parts list" too. It give me womething to think about. My computer simulations say that if this engine was in my car I could run about 350 mph. don't know if I'd have the cajones to drive it that fast, and I don't know if the car could take it. It's been to "only" 273 mph so far. And yes that is mph not kilos.
If your still under 2000 cc's put a roll cage and a fire system in it and come out and run Bonneville next August. I'm trying to convince the S2K crowd to do a cruise to the salt in 2004. Your car would be a wonderful extra draw. If you're about 6' 2" 200 lbs or so you could borrow my fire suit. You'd probably run G/BGMS ("G" motor [1501 to 2000 cc's), Blown Gas Modified Sports. Current record set in '91 is 211.714. The S2000 is a bit of a pig aerodynamically, but that HP should help a lot.
Hey, this here life is not a dress rehersal.
Ciao,
Jim Knapp

Thank you guys for the kind words.
I am not the owner of the car, the owner's user name is VLSTurboS2k09 on this forum.
I helped him select the parts he needed, send to the fabricator to furnish everything, then send to the dyno to tune. My tech and I however finished the fuel system, electronic units, and all necessary components to make it work. I tuned the base map in two days to make it drive close to stock and it's up to the tuner to make power ( I got no dyno ). I did however couldn't fully tune cold start since I had time restrains.
I would like to elaborate the car will not run high boost on the street. It is not possible due to traction and the not so strong drivetrain not to mention race fuel are expensive.
However, with close to 390HP @ 15psi, it will not be slow. even with that amount of power, drivetrain would still have too much to handle under rapid launching and spinning.
Take it easy Alex!
