Filler neck issue
So i have the dreaded AP1 filler neck issue where the gas cap clicks before its actually tight. I read on another thread that you can replace it with a higher year filler neck however at 2006 and up the filler neck only has a single line coming off of it and 2005 and older have two. Part numbers are different as well. Did Honda fix the problem so that if I were to order the 2002 filler neck I would be okay?
Anybody that knows I would appreciate an answer. Thank you!

This might help.
There are dozens of threads discussing this issue. I had mine replaced free by a Honda dealer a long time ago.

Yea I saw that thread. I have over 100k so i doubt that my local dealerships will do it for free. I am looking for more of a permanent solution. I have been doing the whole "squeeze the sides" for a while now and its becoming annoying. I was mainly asking about the difference in part numbers for the AP1/Early AP2 and Late AP2 filler necks. If there was a TSB for this problem, I would assume Honda revised the design of the neck. I just wanted clarification.
