actually if i were you, i'd buy one that was well maintained and stock so you can mod it yourself. i think you're just asking for trouble with that one.

Well, the shop bought it used with 23k miles on the clock. Since then, they have put ALL the upgrades on it and it only has 25k now. So since it has had the mods, it has been driven only ~2k miles and those are only from shows and such. I have talked to the guy who owns the car and he seemed extremely knowledgeable. He told me that there shouldn't be any major maintenance with the supercharger. The car is in absolute PERFECT condition.

Since this is from a shop I would expect you are paying pretty well for a modded '00.
Honestly take the money you would be putting into that car and get yourself an '02. Then you will know that the car will be reliable and you wont have to worry about any modifications because you supervised them yourself.
Of course this is just my opinion but I think it's a pretty good prediction that you will be more happy in the long run going with an '02 and slowly doing the mods yourself.

I really dont have the kind of money to buy one and put the upgrades on it myself.
i'm trying to get you to step back and look at things logically, forget the "ohhhh i want it!" factor for a second. you'd be buying a car that was assembled for the purpose of showing and exhibition runs. i'm not trying to knock the shop or anything, but i've seen plenty of shop's "show" cars that were literally falling apart and poorly maintained, due to the fact they were too busy getting things ready for a show, taking care of customers, etc etc.
i'd never buy a car that was taken from NA to FI without me being there for 100% of the process to make sure everything was done correctly and nothing was short-cutted.
with that being said, it's still your money, and ultimately your decision. good luck.

No offense taken, but I am actually paying a pretty good price. I dont have (nor the time) to spend $20K in modes ALONE yet still having to pay for the car. To tell you the truth, I wouldn't have enough knowledge about this stuff to make sure it was all done 100% correctly if I were to do it myself. I know you guys are trying to watch out for me, and I thnak you for that. Couldn't I always have it checked out to make sure everything was sound? When I spoke to the owner, he told me he would trailer it up to my house and let me chech it out before I made my final decision. Besides, the clutch and flywheel combo, is anyhting else really a threat?

Well, all that other stuff being said, I say, hell yeah! Go and buy it right now! And drive the shit out of it. I'm sure you're going to love it. But, before you buy it take it to a Honda dealership and spend the $100 to have them "look it over" and check compression etc.
Then buy, buy, buy! I can tell you want it! Go get it! Now! Faster!

Aside from having a mechanic check it out, I would take it to a DIFFERENT performance shop to have it dyno'ed with a WBO2 sensor to see how well it has been tuned. If the SC is "off the shelf", you will probably need to get an eManage or something to improve the tuning.
