Don't just "whack" the MAP. Actually take it off and make sure there's no dirt around where the plug goes or where the sensor itself sits. I hit the thing a few times to no avail. . .simply taking it off and putting it back on solved my problems. Hopefully it'll help you out.

I did the map whack on its own without the ecu reset and it made it a little better. The hesitation was shorter and less noticeable. I did the whack again after I got home, but haven't drove the car yet to see if it made the problem go away completely. Hopefully it did, I will see tonight or tomorrow morning when I drive it again.

It turns out it was the oil. For some mysterious reason it was VERY low on oil. Next time I go somewhere to get a oil change I will have to double check how much they put in my car because I think the last place didn't put enough. I added two quarts and it is now in between the low and high point a little closer to low, just to give you an idea of how low it was. Thank god I didn't drive the car much while it was low.
