F22c Installed 2003 AP1 2003 Won't Start help!
Got a f22 in my car, I just swapped the AEM for the original 2003 ECU, car turns over but won't fire.
Checked all the sensors, fuses and grounds, fuel rail has fuel in it. not sure if theres some issue with the ECU and the engine or I should be looking at a sensor?

no CEL, I see the flashing key light when I key the car off could it be the immobiliser?
I've been running the car with an AEM ecu forever so its not had the stock ecu in for a while

checked fuses, tried both keys, changed all coils, changed both cam sensors, crank sensor, map sensor
Realised TPS sensor plug was hooked up to map sensor! fixed that still no joy
definitely its getting fuel, plugs smell of fuel... pulled valve cover off, is the cam timing set right?
This is an AP1 head and cams on a AP2 shortblock:

The cam gears look spot on, the timing gear looks off, but that could be the angle of the photo. But the cam gears are spot on and that is what matters. The timing chain is off two teeth. Should be two teeth to the left (See dark links) But this is really a guide when installing it. It is really more of a Crank and Cam thing anyway and those look spot on.
Realised TPS sensor plug was hooked up to map sensor! Ok that would have had an impact.
Check your grounds. The ground of the rear of the head, and one of the motor to sub frame both can cause this. I know, it happen to me.
You smell fuel, Check. Do you have spark? You can pull a coil and attach the plug to the cylinder head for ground using a wire.

ok wanted to conclude thread in case others have same problem, recharged battery changed ECU to AEM.. same deal
Took to mechanic checked grounds, spark, immobiliser with computer, all good
Took off valve cover.. EXHAUST cam and INTAKE cam swapped!!
So he fixed it and turned over once and started right away and sounds smooth as butter!
thanks everyone for help

I would have never guessed that. Thanks for sharing. I wonder what the timing of the lobes are when reversed and if that could have caused any valve to piston contact.? Clearly it caused a compression issue that stopped it from firing.
