F22C in AP1

i'm thinking about going the 2.2 route with my car, would the motor work with ap1 trans and 4.77 diff?? i dont really foresee any issues but just wanted to be sure

will work fine, although i'd rather have an ap2 tranny

with the ap2 tranny, you have to change the output shaft or something on the trans, although the ap1 trans/diff will work with no modifiactions.

the ap1 trans with 4.77 is kind of like having 4.56 in an ap2

When I did my swap, I swapped the longblock only, everything else is ap1. Required no modification of anything. I rev it to 9 all time, I drive it like it still has an f20. I've had my swap for about 3 years now. I recommend at least a VAFC for tuning.

Hey how is the bored engine? Nice gains with it? What internals did you need to use?
Is it alot more expensive than a regular rebuild to bore it like that?
Do you need stand alone now for it?
Sorry to go off topic.
Oh and any dyno's of it?

I have a F22c bored to a 2.4l displacement in my car but i cant help you cuz i didnt do the swap. I just wanted to show off. good luck.
I'm also curious about the internals you used, could you elaborate more on your setup please?
