I've seen a few people on here ruin their AP2 engine cause they swapped a AP1 ecu into their cars for the 9k redline.
A few people? The only AP2 engine failure due to an AP1 ECU that I know on this board was posted by sfphinkterMC. See more info here >> https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showt...5&#entry5789529

I don't want to be rude or anything, but I would really be appreciated if you could please provide the links or or screen names of those other people who got their AP2 engines ruined due to the AP1 ECU.

Now I feel more safe to move forward with that car.

you love it, its the best of both worlds. the improved torque and 9k redline. if you have driven an ap1 and an ap2 you will notice the difference in the two. the f20 and f22 are both strong motors, they can handle it. I just would track or auto cross it like an f20. If I was into auto-x or tracking the s I would definatly drive it different. But definatly avoid staying in the 8500-9k range for long periods of time. With my gears and ap1 flywheel my car revs quickly so i'm not in that range for long. But be careful about overrevs!!!!!
