Don't know if it matters, but for MY06+ F22c as opposed to MY04-MY05, the cam sensors and crank sensors are different.
it is an 07 block soo...
its so wierd though because it drive perfect until 8 grand?
and ecu reports no mechanical problems. will an ap2 ecu fix my problem

so yes it seems that i need to change to an ap2 ecu.
or possibly an AEM ems but i should probable try the ap2 ecu first to see if that fixes it

the 07 crank sensor wheel i believe has more sensor fingers on the wheel. (i bought the kpro conversion) at 8000 rpm its probably giving off way too many pulses or signals and thats why its in limp. also if you are continuing to use the 07 ap2 valve cover you had then the sensors in there are different also.
the most economical approach would be to buy the ap1 crank sensor wheel and change it. if you are using the valve cover from your 07 head then just slap on the valve cover from your 03
and you can keep your ap1 ecu so you can rev to 9

and i am using my 03 head and valve coer so that problem is taken care of. as for the crank wheel yes i did actually notice a difference when we were assembling the engine.
instead of buying a 03 crank wheel what if i just bought an 07 crank sensor so it would be compatible with the crank wheel. would that be cheaper than buying the actualy wheel and would that work? and i could still keep my 03 ecu?
