Default F20C increased redline

Hey all,
I'm considering a Stack gauge cluster for my F20C Lotus 7 project and I'm trying to plan ahead. I don't see myself going FI on this car, so if i want more power it will be by spinning the motor to god-awful heights. How much can the stock bottom end take with cams that can support the upgraded flow? The tach Im looking at is a 0-3-10,500rpm model. Can they spin any higher than that without serious $$$ dumped into them?

Whats the point? Power (both torque and HP) drops off significantly right after thier peaks and before redline. I cannot see how spinning it higher will not get you anymore power from this engine.

I'm talking about a stock bottom end with cams and ITBs. There isn't any power to be had from that?

you can make power all the way past 9k. you will need the PROPER cams, at this point the only cams I have seen make power are the Hytech. Long wait and expensive but worth the money.

Okay. Assuming I have the correct cams, a good tune, and the supporting mods (ITBs, stiffer valve springs, etc etc), what can the STOCK BOTTOM END safely spin to? 9500? 10k? 10.5k?

Safely, most likely OEM specs for redline. But if you're doing all this work to it, why is safety a concern?
