Default F20C head on a 06+ F22C

So I am running a AEM ems v2 on my turbo ap1. The bottom end is old (130k) and I can only fear that my main bearings are going to fall apart soon. The ap1 head has double valve springs and titanium retainers. Can I swap bottom ends with something new and shiny from Honda instead of rebuilding? I know it cannot be done with a factory ecu because of the lack of air pump.

Yeah should bolt up fine. Headgaskets are the same part# for AP1 and AP2. There might be minor things that are plugged/blocked off for the different emissions equipment, but should be minor modifications even if so.

Are you talking about getting a new Honda 2.2 short block?

I have done this swap before and the only thing you need to change is the trigger wheel on the crank other then that everything bolts right up . I purchased my 2.2 directly from the dealership a MY08 bottom end .

Yep.

Is there a part number for that trigger wheel or can I re-use the one on my current bottom end.

You need to reuse your current crank trigger wheel and crank sensor
