I am deciding what project engine to build and an F20C is one option but I need to know how much it will cost. The F20C is attractive because it is perhaps one of the best NA engines ever produced and isn't too expensive. I enjoy road course driving and it is a good engine for light and nimble cars that aren't too expensive either.

How much is a F20C block and head? Good ductile iron sleeves along with installation? Pistons, rods, crankshaft? Is the stock crankshaft a forged piece? I am hoping to build an F20C, overbore, stock stroke, worked head, standalone ECU. I will be machining and assembling the engine myself. The heads I will port myself too.

Is there any company making dry sump kits for the F20C? ARE makes dry sump pans for the F20C, but that's about it. Is there any dry sumped F20C with documentation I can look at or perhaps an owner I can email to talk about this?

I will be happy to share the development process in return for any help with information I may get.

That site seems to have lower than average prices. They are probably trying to make a name for themselves compared to more established sites like: hmotorsonline.com and passwordjdm.com

I don't know if I'd want to be the guinea pig...
