F20c Dimensions
Hello, having looked at Chris barry's F20c powered Club man, i'm very tempted to put one into my kit car. But, will it fit? can some one either point me in the dirrection of somewhere to find dimensions of the engine, bell housing and gearbox, or, could someone be so kind as to measure one up for me?
Thanks a lot,
Mark.

I'll try to get a tape measure on the engine/gearbox tonight.
The PRB clubman was originally built with the Toyota 4age engine and T50 gearbox in mind. Major problem I found was the overall height and how fat the gearbox was around the bellhousing. The length of the engine/gearbox was almost the same as the Toyota unit.

Got some measurements last night. I was balanced 4 levels high in a pallet racking system with a tape measure so these may be +- 1 inch.
Engine
Height 25"
length 20"
width 20" wide across inlet manifold. Need to allow 2-3 inches for headers
width 14" wide across bellhousing
Gearbox is 32" long and needs approx 14" wide tunnel for the first 1/3 of the box. After that 10" narrowing down to 8" wide is enough.
With the water pump and alternator in place the engine width is a pretty consistent 20" over most of its height.
Hope this helps. As I found out, the F20C isnt a small motor when you are used to cast iron blocked 1600's.

Mark: I installed an F20C (with Honda transmission) in my Westfield, which started life as a SEiGHT. I use the car for both street and track. I'd be happy to share photos and experiences. PM me with your e-mail address if you're interested. It's not a quick project, but the results are worthwhile.
