I use RedLine 75W140. Works great for my application. I may go to RedLine shockproof but I'm still researching it.

Shockproof - inadequate splash lubrication until it is very warm.

Personally I don't know about the "splash lubrication" but I recently put in shockproof and I love the feel, it quieted down the diff as well! I hope that living in Cen. Florida it stays warm enough to not worry about splash or the lack of! I would assume that the gears that are sitting in the shockproof will distribute the lubricant as soon as it rotates!
any feedback on this?
