Must be running rich. What do you tune with? You gotta get more airflow, get a better exhaust and intake.

The inside of my exhaust tips is just as you describe and has been that way since new. The car runs well, gas mileage is good (27-30 mpg), and I keep the intake clean and change the air filter well within the suggested guidelines. I just consider it a "feature."

lol, seems to be normal then.
Frankly, I did notice it, but didnt care. However I went home on the weekend and my dad pointed it out and said it wasnt normal so I was like o.O?
