Default Exhaust piping sizing

Im going to be having a custom exhaust made for my car. I am probably going to be running either one big glasspack or any combo of a glasspacks or mufflers get the sound I want. The only thing im not sure on is what size piping I will be using. Its for a NA application. I was thinking somewhere around 2.5". So far im just in the stages of figuring out what I am going to be doing.

What size piping does the Invidia system use?

Also I am thinking about getting a TP for the car, I was looking at the Berk Tech. TP. So far my car is completely stock and I was wondering if the O2 sensor was located so that it wont set off the exhaust gas flow code or any others?

Any other input would be appreciated.

Well as far as the TP you need the o2 sensor fix, its an adapter that fits into the TP on the down stream side. The o2 plugs into it and hence is blocked from reading anything. IT wont throw a light so... but it might smell bad with a TP

Do you have any idea what the Inividia exhaust is?

common sizes for N/A applications are 63mm (~2.5") and 70mm (~2.75"). I'd probably go w/ 2.75

invidia v1 and v2 use 60mm piping.

invidia v3 uses 70mm main pipe then it splits into two 60mm pipes.

Truthfully im not totally sure what it will sound like. When I had my first car and didnt know much about cars my buddy convinced me to put a glasspack on my 93 civic. I actually liked the sound. It had a full sound, and didnt have the raspy sound since a glasspack is a resonator. Obviously it was loud, but didnt have the typical rice burner sound.

I have a custom exhaust. It's a 3" with a vibrant muffler. It sounds mean as hell, but it's REALLY freakin loud. Girls ride in the car with me and always complain that they can't hear the radio/me talking/etc. 3" is NOT too big for an NA application, it has been dyno proven to make more peak hp than 70mm and also not lose any midrange power. Don't listen to this "not enough backpressure" nonsense. I would definitely say 3" is the limit though. Anything more and you will lose midrange power, anything less and you won't be making optimum peak hp.

Is your exhaust 3" the whole way, or does your exhaust drop in size when it splits? If possible could you describe the sound or give me a video link. And what muffler did you use?
