Default exhaust install help

Hey all, we are doing the invidia exhaust install right now, so far everything is going well but we have hit a rock hard problem. The stupid cat bolts are SOLID in there, I've used a crap load of WD-40 and sofar no go.

How the hell do you get them off? Can I put the wrench on it and bang it with a mallet? get a long pipe and try to turn it the best we can?

Any ideas or suggestions are miuch appreciated ASAP!

Thanks

? You mean I don't unscrew them? I thought that was what I unscrewed to get it off of the cat converter?

there are 3 bolts on the back of the cat. you remove the nuts off these bolts to remove the stock exhaust. the three bolts stay on the cat and you connect the invidia using the existing 3!

WD40 is a lousy penetrant. It's more of a cleaner. Use Liquid Wrench on all the nuts and go away for coffee before trying again. Or you can just break them off and then cut the bolts off with a cutting wheel or torch and buy new nuts and bolts. Sometimes, treating those nuts with LW hours before you work on them is what it takes.

got the stock system out...now the bolts are still remaining in the cat...we broke the heads off of one of them, and hitting them with a mallet isn't working, any ideas?

I don't understand why you're trying to get rid of the bolts. Can you not use them to install the new exhaust? Every system I've put on, I've used the cat bolts and nuts that came with the OEM exhaust. Those bolts are pressed in. Re-used them.

we broke 2 of the bolts in the process of getting the nuts off so I could only use one of the three
