Default Exhaust bolt problem

I just ordered a new exhaust and went to remove my stock. There was quite a bit of corrosion on the bolts from the Cat. I used Liquid Wrench on the bolts a few times and went to remove them. Instead of removing them I think I succesfully stripped them. is there any way to fix this without having to go to an exhaust shop? And how much would having these bolts removed run me?

I ran into this problem when I was taking my cat off. I broke the nut off, which is fine. If you can't get them off you may have to just get a grinder and cut them off.

I stripped two bolts off.....not I biggie at all. Just pounded the stud out and used bolts.....

What do you mean stripped?

Get a dremel and a cutoff wheel, cut the nut off, and pound the stud out.....

I guess i was confusing, no supprise!

I stripped the NUT head so my wrench wont turn the nut to get it off. The bolt threads are fine because the nut didnt even move before i destroyed it. Whats involved in breaking it off?

I dont have a grinder or a dremel to cut the nut off so i guess i am stuck with going somewhere to have them do it for me?

can you use a vice grip locking wrench and muscle it off?
you should try it before you decide to cut anything
