Default Exhaust

Im looking for an exhaust system for my car, so far I like Supersprint. I have an AP1 and was wondering what the oval tips look like on the car. I like the cleanliness of the car but im worried that oval types will kinda ruin simplicity of the design.

Also I am thinking about autocrossing my car or taking it to a track. I have heard that the differential is the weak link in this car, is that true. If so does the comptech reinforcement housing help with the problem? Are there any other precautions I should take, i.e. baffled oil pan.

as long as the oval tips have some clearance from the rear bumper, they shouldn't be bad. ap2's have oval tips, of course the holes in the bumper are also ovals, not round like the ap1 holes. what do you mean by "the track"? if you mean a drag strip, it wouldn't be a bad idea to get an ap2 diff housing or a comptech diff housing, otherwise the diff should be just fine. a baffled oil pan is only needed when you are going to be experiencing long stretches of high-g cornering where the engine would be starved of oil without the baffles. before looking into a baffled oil pan, i would update the oil jet bolts (banjo bolts) to the newer design for better oiling

thanks man i will look into the oil jets. I meant road racing when i said track. I take it the AP2 diff are stronger then the AP1 diffs. Also does anyone have any experience with Supersprint?

Very Very Very nice deep tone...You have the choice of non-resonated and resonated. I opted for the non-resonated sound great but a bit of drone. I couldn't stand the drone around 3-3.5kish. I had the stock resonator and helmzholtz thing reinstalled today. This was Perrrrfect exactly what I was looking for in sound, mildly deep with NO drone period, I can hear my music now. Just sucks that I had to chop such an expensive piece of hardware...I spent $1,650 on it and 6months. lol

Ya i am looking for something without drone, it drives me nuts. Besides Supersprint do you have any other mods to your exhaust. Im thinking about installing a test pipe when i put exhaust on my car. Eventually I will put Rick's headers.

Is it pretty quiet under low load i.e. highway? I heard its only aggressive under load.

Thanks for the responce, how do the oval tips look on the car?
