Default Exedy's OEM clutch

Exedy makes 2 ( i think) clutches for our car. The hyper single (out of my price range ) and they also make an oem style clutch. Does anyone know if the OEM style clutch improves the grip, and also does it last longer than the original. Its an oem style clutch i know, but its also made by exedy so i would suspect it to be stronger. Does anyone know?

What are you trying to change?

I use the OEM disk, and an ACT pressure plate. It works great. Clearly you seam to have something wrong you are trying to fix. Want to share it with us? Most of us have been here a long time and can help if you tell us what the problem you want to fix.

Hey guys, I stumbled on to this page since Im trying to look for Q&A to see if someone is having same problem as me, sinceI was looking towards Exedy I was drawn to this page.....
(Sorry to to take thread supahman04) Let me know If I should post up new thread

Stratocaster ; You seem cool and willing to help.
So here goes..I had my cluctch installed by somestupid A_ss shop here in miami Speedshop..DONT GO THERE. anyway My clutch is a stage 1 (Factory basically) and my clutch feels like a pump. Its not smooth at all when you press the clutch more like e-brake. Before my clutch engages i feel and hear about 3 clicks. Then is goes in. PLus damn clutch is brand new anyreason why this is happening.?

i'm no clutch specialist but maybe they did not fully bleed your clutch line. check for bubbles in your clutch resivoir. and as for the clicks, when you bought your clutch did you also buy a new throw out bearing?

I never got to take a look at the whole clutch kit...
Yohan at speedshop didnt tell me anything he was like " ohhh the clutch is here"

Since I dont believe people are going to be Dikc heads just for fun , I trust that he put eveything that needed to be fixed in side...

Lets say he didnt change the throw out bearing....Can this be easily fixed..or can I get a new throwout bearing and still keep the same clucth?
