Even more questions about the VAFC

Regarding altitude: Shouldn't matter, since the ECU, I'm almost positive, has an atmospheric pressure sensor on board. It should be compensating for altitude changes and adjust fuel accordingly.
Good question: Does the V-AFC monitor atmospheric temp? It has no way of knowing it from the ECU. Since the AFC "spoofs" the MAP sensor, I would think it would need atmosphere as a reference, otherwise it would send the wrong signal. Maybe it skews the signal it reads xx% based on the correction (and doesn't care what the absolute value is).

I noticed a definite difference. I beat your friends S2000 w/ tanabe exhaust, vafc, and it's ported and polished.
I originally took it to Action Turbo's but it looks like they went out of business. Can't imagine why They did nothing for me. From now on, I'll do any tuning myself, that seems like the only way I can be sure the job is done. Whether it's done right or not, now that's a different matter

alititude has huge difference on the car's performance. I went for a day trip up to Yosemite, and at the top of the mountains VTEC wasn't engaging until >7krpm. I assume this means the VAFC would need to be tuned differently for those high altitudes.

'Plug and play' ecus, i.e. Mugen, Spoon, although more expensive, seems like a nice way to go, if indeed these ecus take all parameters into consideration in the maximizing power effort.

I just got my dyno at PFI in Ft Collins. It is surprisingly VERY low. I got only 179.2 rwhp. I will post the details in a new thread later. What's is wrong with my car? Or is there?
