After having the TSB's both done (15 days at the dealer but with a Honda paid for rental) as I noted here Sunday- I brought a car home with problems still. Noise in tranny, no synchro between 1st & 2nd. and now I'm having major problems getting the car into reverse...
Today, my dealer's "new" service manager (fired 'old' one) said that Honda had put out a new TSB correcting an error on their original TSB... for the 1-2 grind... and I am taking the car in again tomorrow, picking up a rental, and we shall see. Sure glad I tried to have an 'intermittant' problem fixed, now it's from 1st. to 3rd., and avoid reverse at all costs.
Will keep you posted.

I want to know who these people on here talked to when they refer to Honda wanting to do anything they can to keep the S2000 owners happy???? I need that name. My zone people don't seem to know about this attitude. My wife took the car down today to the dealer in Miami, the service writer said he would demand a new transmission. She told him we had tried that route....the service manager said he will take the tranny out, look at it and may request a new tranmission. They gave her a rental to drive...first rental had a low Rt. rear tire, she put air in it...by the middle of the afternoon, tire was almost flat...got a second rental.
I also had the seat belt recall done, which involves removing almost the entire interior of the car. Sounds like I'm lucky that the only thing that doesn't work there is the ash tray won't open...
