Erratic idling

Erratic idling
Hi very new to S2000 ownership a yr2000 red beauty 
But ...I have encountered a small problem & would really appreciate any help. The ECU light has come on.At first start of the day the idle speed/revs were very erratic making driving snappy.Checked the forum for cleaning the IAC valve . Done this and things are much better. However still on the first start up the revs 'dance' a little, if you switch the engine off and back on the revs are fine and all is ok.
Will replacing the IAC help?
Any pointers would be greatly appreciated!
