Default EPS Light Problem, but not all the time ?

Under the Hood World

After picking up my S from the Vallet service at Greektown Casino my S had an EPS Light on. I tried to see if a restart would would solve the problem, but it didn't at that time.

After driving about 20 Highway miles without Power Steering, I pulled over and restarted the car again and the eps light went off.

However sometimes the light comes on and sometimes it doesen't when I start the S.

I have checked the 70 amp main fuse and it looks ok. The eps light is not blinking and will go away sometimes after a restart. I also disconected the negitive battery cable for ten minutes to see if I could reset the computer, but the light came right back on when I started my S.

Any Clues ?

Thanks: Fred

To start, you need to retrieve the EPS codes. They are pretty simplified, it shouldn't be to hard to figure out.
