Im in utah so that would be a bit of a drive haha. Thats what im thinking im going to do at this point though

I'm sure you have that motor shipped for $500 (maybe? considering it costs 500-1000 to ship a car) and it'd be a little over your budget.

I think it's a no brainer for you to get another working s2k motor since this is your daily. No sense in starting a rebuild by yourself or some swap that requires modifications, money, time, etc.
