Thanks for the post - I'm going to be installing one as well soon and will most likely custom build a bracket like what you have done.

It's not really that hard but just takes time.

did you modify your A/C line so it does not rub anymore?

Read on my friend, you have no idea
A, J's heat shield is $50/$60 bucks and it fits like crap
This thing fits like it's OEM
How much to repair a hole in the A/C line from a bad fited ETD?

The best part of this mount is, you do not have to brake off the fuse box mounting tab anymore to install an ETD.
If you plan on going back to stock some day it will be easy to

Besides...How much to repair the car after you rip the tab off the side of the shock tower??? Or how much off the sale price of your car if you do not repair the damage and sell the car with the fuse box sitting there flaping in the wind????
The little money spent now will save you a lot of money later

This mount also allows you to adjust the preload on the engine

As you can see the two parts interlock and then they are welded together. The unit is then turned over and welded again on the face to fill in the two key ways that lock it in place. This thing is not coming apart. It is hand welded, ground, and grained.

I have had it in the car for a long time testing it out and putting it through as much abuse an N/A car can do.
I have ran it with a bolt missing, with them all loose, with as much preload as I could pull on the engine without using a pry bar (DO NOT USE A PRY BAR), I ran it loose as just show
