the piece that broke, came up with the spark plug. so i did not have to worry about that.

this was yesterday (sunday) evening... as you might know, it is NOT a possibility to not drive the car on a sunday evening. so i just glued it with super glue lol.
it worked, but now i need to buy new ones to put my mind at rest.

its just that other forum members are suggesting the BKR8EIX ..
or is this only when having forced induction?

To be honest mate im not too sure about the application of that other part number you have been recommended but IFR7G-11KS is the Iridium upgrade of the OEM honda fit PFR7G-11S which I believe is a platinum electrode.

Anyway those are the plugs I fitted in my car when I serivced it last week and it runs spot on and made 260 bhp on the dyno yesterday

then i'll just go grab a set of those .. thanks.
its strange, on the ngk website it only recommends the OE part number, for the platinum ones.

Just typed the part number in the site there for you mate and there's the application list

Strange that though because it doesn't list them when you search by car :S

thought i was going crazy.
but youre right - when you search by car only one plug comes up.

i went to 2 shops, and then directly to the ngk agent -- these plugs never made it to malta.

i checked with denso - they only have the 'iridium tough' lineup in stock for the s2000 ... but i read a lot of negative comments re denso here .. so did not buy (apart from being verry expensive)

i now spoke to the previous owner, and he told me that he has just replaced them about a month ago. he used the oem platinum ngk plugs. he bought them from ebay or something.
so i'll probably just buy one oem plug and replace the broken one.
dont think its worth replacing them all if they're basically brand new.

also asked him about this problem of the engine not starting immediately, he said that it started doing it when he replaced the throttle body and air intake. but he said it also made a big difference to the way the engine responded.. it revs faster... so i guess its worth it ...

Theres a few listings on ebay for them, however I'm not sure what postage etc would be like to malta.

Yeah definately, the filter/exhaust on my car made a huge difference to the way the car feels, it just seems to rev so much more freely.

What intake or other mods are you running?

dont know what power really. I wish there was someone here with a similar setup.
Mine is a JDM so standard it had 247 bhp.
I think I am being reasonable by assuming it has around 280?
